Crowdfunding, VC’s & angels

Amidst some degree of turmoil in the traditional financial markets, innovative ways for businesses to raise growth funds are emerging; equity crowdfunding is one of these.

We have funded businesses, for example Escape the City, that see the advantages of crowdfunding over traditional VC’s and angels investors.

Also we have funded businesses alongside angel investors, which can be a very good way to raise funds and shows benefits to all parties – company, crowdfunding investors and angels. An example of this was the London Distillery Company, where £100K came from crowdfunding and £150K from angel investors.
