Raisedough is run by Richard Reeves; Richard holds an MBA from Imperial College and a Corporate Finance qualification from the London Business School. He has been involved in the financing and development of many growth businesses and has consulted on innovation, branding and marketing with many FMCG, iconic, luxury, challenger and artisan food & drink businesses across most sector categories and traditional and digital media.
On his epicurean plate, Richard is professionally-trained as a chef (Leith’s School of Food & Wine) and in Wine and Spirits (Wine & Spirits Education Trust). He developed and managed one of the UK’s top 40 hotel-restaurants and has worked in some of the UK’s finest kitchens. Richard’s life-long passion for all-things epicurean was originally inspired as a teenager fishing with my grandfather on the Brixham day boats
Raisedough is the food & drink partner to Crowdcube. Crowdcube is run by Darren Westlake and Business Partner Luke Lang. The pair conceived the business while watching the BBC TV show Dragons’ Den and, in believing there was a better and more democratic way to fund entrepreneurs, set out to establish an innovative, web-enabled social funding platform.
